Our Laterite extraction is also an Eco-Friendly and sustainable process. Unlike many other extractive industries, WA Blockmakers do not leave an excavated scar on the landscape. All pits/quarries created from the extraction are rehabilitated with screened, blended and quality tested top soils, returning the land back to its natural levels suitable for cropping or stock grazing.

Eco-Grey Blocks are made using materials derived from demolition, civil Local Government Council and construction spoils.

These materials are manufactured into usable aggregates which are then used to produce the highest quality, Eco Friendly grey blocks in WA.

These Eco-Grey Blocks were originally made as the retaining wall ‘backer blocks’ to be used behind the more decorative face blocks (Laterite Blocks), but our mix design and finish has made them suitable as face blocks also!
